Hubby and I out on a date night He got the porterhouse with mushroom and onion I got 14oz prime rib with mushrooms Both steaks were cooked to our liking and very tasty Had a wonderful time and our server Maria was 100% on top of everything
07/22 Ordered some curbside birthday dinner. I would say the presentation of the food left much to be desired. Had the 8 Oz filet med rare with loaded mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli with a sidekick of grilled shrimp and a sidekick of ribs. And no this was not eaten all in one sitting. They forgot to give us the toppings for the loaded mashed potatoes and the sidekick of ribs was absolutely dry. I called the manager and she offered to replace the ribs and give us the toppings and Xtra BBQ that was missing. She also threw in a couple extra rolls. Unfortunately the ribs that they replaced the other ribs with were also extremely dry even with the Xtra BBQ sauce. I do appreciate the effort but definitely won't be getting ribs from there anytime soon. I ended up cutting up some of the steak and sautéing in the pan with the shrimp with some olive oil and added seasoning. Overall with the exception of the ribs and having to run back up to the restaurant for the replacement the meal was
My first time at a Texas Roadhouse. Mehhh.... I was excited after traveling from Canada on a road trip to finally stop and eat. We all grabbed the filet mignon and we all had different results. Not our first time eating steak and this was poor quality. Im not sure if it was the fact that we got there later in the night but it was if minimal effort went into our meals. After listening to someone in our car for hours rant and rave at how good this place was... we were all left disappointed and let down. As a Canadian I found the whole concept of the peanuts very cool and old fashion so that was nice to see but it did not make up for the steaks. Interesting place, I will definitely try the franchise again just not this location.
