Tequila's Family Mexican Restaurant in Golden co

Visiting family in Colorado my daughter and I decided to try this restaurant?OH NO!!! NOT good!!! The "wannabe" enchiladas sauce had a very sweet taste to them, corn tortillas have to use a knife to cut bites, I wanted the lettuce and tomato on the side of my enchiladas!! NOT in a separate dish? (miscommunication) daughter Bloody Mary did not taste like a Bloody Mary!!? My beer, Dos Equis OK ?? A little warm for my taste? The bill came up to $50.00- for 1 Bloody Mary, 1 beer, 5 cheese and onion enchiladas, side lettuce and tomato dish?! Should have went to Taco Bell???

Food was Great! Different taste from back in Indiana. Clean, Friendly, great atmosphere! Priced right! Our server was very good! And that's hard to find these days.

This restaurant continues to get better. I have been here a handful of times and each plate I order is just cooked perfectly, great flavors and portions are filling. Their tequila selection is fantastic. Plenty to choose from, whether you are wanting to taste the agave from the Blanco tequila to the sweet smooth Carmel flavor of an Añejo. Many to put into a margarita as well as ones just to sip on. I will be back to enjoy more food and drinks.
