Teotihuacán Mexican Café

The food was good. The torillas were good as well and had this authenticity to them unlike other places where the tortillas smell bad like chemicals. The agua de horchata was good too. Very smooth and did not have that overwhelming cinnamon taste.

If you want authentic Mexican food at a price where the quality is top-notch, this is your place. The tortillas are fresh, the grilled chicken is plentiful. I’m definitely coming back.

When you’re in the mood for Mexican food in the Houston area, you don’t need to look very far. Mexican restaurants and TexMex eateries are everywhere and a very good option I recently discovered is Teotihuacan Mexican Restaurant. Walking into this restaurant, you get a friendly vibe immediately. It’s a medium size restaurant with tables/chairs and booths. There is no one waiting at the door to seat you, at least not when I visited for lunch. You seat yourself and then wait for a member of the staff to come to your table and take your order. The interior isn’t huge, but it isn’t small either. It can accommodate a large number of customers. There is a section in the back that is more private and can be used for more private affairs.
