Tender Greens

Eat here. I 'd previously enjoyed their Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad at the Mission Valley location and wanted to have it again while at the One Paseo boutique outdoor mall. This is the salad of my dreams. It's a huge amount of food for a very modest price and it's loaded with goodies. The grilled chicken is mostly thigh meat with very crispy skin and so tender inside. Intensely flavorful, thanks to all the seasonings and probably too much salt. But hey. All the other ingredients were top quality and very generous as well. Bacon was also crispy-tender in nice chunks. Tomatoes so tomato-y. Perfect amount of eggy tarragon dressing. Really too much food for a normal lunch but I couldn't stop eating. The only slight miss was the grilled slice of sourdough that came with it. Probably sat a bit too long after grilling but still edible. I'll pass on that next time. But their mint lemonade was a perfect accompaniment to the salad. Very tart and very sweet at the same time. It's

The cashier, Lara, was very nice and helped a lot. The fried chicken sandwich is really good, especially the spicing and how crispy it is. Recommend this place!

Caused diarrhea and cramps since noon today!! They were out of all salmon dishes despite it being Friday noon. We ordered the Thai Shrimp bowl which we ordered before. Then restaurant said no one could deliver, so had to send daughter to pick up. First time ordered, dish came with no tomatoes and was much less spicy and good. Second time ordered, dish came without all the ingredients and more spicy. In today ‘s dish, it was filled with tomatoes and chilis to the point I had diarrhea 4 times since then and that was only dish I ate all day despite no GI problems in past 6 months. They don’t allow you to say no tomatoes or chilis when you order delivery or pickup from their website. Won’t go back.
