Great food. Great service. Server brought out chips, salsa, cheese sauce and tortilla. I had the Grilled Chicken Monterey Wrap. Very good.
Ted's is the favorite Mexican food restaurant of a lot of people in Oklahoma City. There are a few good reasons for that. The salsa, chips and flour tortillas they serve for free with every meal is excellent. The salsa is fresh and tasty. The tortillas are the best I've had in the city (and I eat Mexican food a lot). I had the Escondido Especial (please excuse me if I missed the spelling there). It's a standard Mexican combination with two enchiladas, a tamale, and a taco. There are a lot of options to upgrade or customize how that meal is ordered. Their corn as a side is a good change for either beans or rice. I thought the meal was really tasty. The beef enchilada and cripy taco were especially good. I think the refried beans were a letdown. Also, it's important to note that dining at Ted's is going to run about $5-$10 more, per person, than most of the Mexican restaurants that I frequent, and their portions on fajitas, for example, might actually be less than what you get elsewhere
I've eaten at several different Ted's locations ,and never had problems till this time around. The service was a joke never got amy refills till we were about to leave. The food was gross, and the serving sizes were meant for 5 year olds. My wife ordered the fajitas, and It was like chewing on leather. And my food tasted like month old grease. We talked to the manage about it and all we got was attitude nothing changed besides the waitresses attitude.
