TDT BBQ

I saw on Instagram that they had grilled lamb chops one day so I hurried to go get some. By the time I got there, they were sold out. ????. But Chef Shombe gave me a rain check and said I could come another day to get some and they would be on him! I thought that was very nice since this was my first time visiting there but I’d been following his IG page for months. I decided to get the turkey wings, ribs, sausage dogs, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, collard greens and potato salad. OMG!!! The turkey wings were smoked to perfection and seasoned just right. The ribs fell off the bone and had that grilled/smoked flavor I love. The sides were cooked like my grandma made them. Everything was sooooo good. My family of four ate off this food for two days. I’ve found my new favorite spot for soul food. I highly recommend this place! I’m definitely going back - for the grilled lamb chops and on days when he doesn’t have those on the menu.

Used to pop by frequently to grab lunch for my Dad. Usually chicken leg quarters and dirty rice, which did not disappoint!! Stopped back in recently and had the salmon. It was delicious and the serving size could last me 2-3 meals. Quick, convenient and local. And Chef Shombe always has a smile and will stop whatever he's doing to chat for a bit. Often he throws in surprise desserts to show he appreciates his customers. I'll definitely be back.
