I really wanted to like this restaurant, but unfortunately I was severely disappointed. I ordered lamb masala and garlic naan online for a 6pm pickup time. I showed up at 6:05 and the woman at the front said the food wasn’t ready yet. That was perfectly understandable to me, so I waited in the lobby. Time ticks away and multiple employees come out to ask what the name on my order was and I told them repeatedly. One of the employees said that the kitchen was backed up, which seemed odd because there were only two customers dining in and no one else waiting for pickup. While I’m waiting, I see a server repeatedly bring the wrong food to the two tables of customers. The server seemed very disorganized and had no clue what he was serving. Finally around 6:40 my food was brought out and I barely even received an “I’m sorry for your wait.” When I got the food home, I was ready to forget the poor service and enjoy my meal. My family and friends have gone here for years, and it had always been great service and food. In June of 2022 was my first HORRIBLE experience with this establishment. I don’t know if they are under new management or if the new staff they hired is just horrible…but things have gone downhill. In June i ordered an almost 300$ order for an event (hours in advance and paid a deposit).when we arrived to pick up the order the waiter told us that he didn’t have this order. We were left waiting for long periods of time with no updates at all. We had to constantly check in with the waiter to see what was even going on. When we FINALLY got the order it was bagged so horribly that the oils from the food completely degraded some of the packaging and about $40 of this order spilled all over our car when it was picked up. Back then we called and left a verbal complaint (with the manager i suppose)…our main concern was that the server was completely unconcerned, inattentive, and unprofessional. Well

This place is disorganized, and gross. I ordered take out. One of my entrees, the mushroom chili was just mushrooms in oil (see pic). Our Order was 40 min late. The waiter told me it was because they were swamped, but I was the only customer in the restaurant for dine in and take out. The waiter kept going back to the kitchen and upon returning, would repeatedly ask for our name. I guess he thought It would change, but I think he just had a bad memory. They also didn't include alk the items we ordered and told me they will give us a credit for next time we visit. Im not coming back here ever again. There's a much better Indian restaurant in Perry Hall called Bombay Nights. I'd give them a shot if you want your food on time, and prefer edible food. My wife and I had to scrap our ffg food and go somewhere else.
