Get in my belly ???? the food was delicious the brisket was soooo tender and the rib meat damn near fell off the bone. Oh and let's not forget about that banana pudding, Mrs Patti LaBelle got some competition

The food here is very good. Smokey, and sweet at the same time. My favorite item so far would be the rib tips. Their hotlinks are great. They are spicy and have a great snap to them. My only complaint would be getting the correct food. Twice I have gotten one of the main dishes wrong, but with that being said, everything I have gotten has been delicious so, overall it's been minor. I wish they had pulled pork too, that would be the icing on the cake. Their sides have all been delicious too and although like all BBQ its pricey, taste my city gives a generous portion enough for two meals. Overall I plan on to keep going back. It's a small, local business that I am happy to support.

I ordered online and the order was ready when I arrived. We walk in and the guy behind the counter said "Welcome, family". Two words with such warmth and meaning. That's real hospitality. We took the food home. Two huge plates of food We ordered too much! The mac n cheese is mandatory. Brisket slaps, green beans had an authentic flavor. I'm from LA and had soul food from the city's oldest soul food institution called Mama's. This place, Taste My City, was better than that. Sorry mama. You have to try it!
