Tarahumaras Mexican Restaurant #2

I've heard great things which lead me here. The birria tacos are pricey and the consomme is an additional cost. I got two and a side of beans and it cost just under $13. I did get it to-go, but still the tacos were not warm. The beans were average. Service was quite pleasant. It's really cute in there. It's a tiny little spot. I may have just had a rare bad experience, because even at the odd hour (2-ish) there were a couple of what seemed to be regulars in there. Parking is street parking.

The Burria tacos are the bomb! Make sure you ask for both salsas that come with it. I was told about this location from the other Tarahumaras where I believe they make the tamales. Best tamales in town hands downs, very flavorful, with a generous portion of meat in them. The only reason why I give them a 4 and not a 5 is because I wish they would stay open longer

It has been really hard finding a restaurant that cooks authentic mexican food. Stumbled across this gem when the restaurant catered my job lunch for new orientation employees. The meat was well seasoned, not over cooked, and delicious. I ordered from this restaurant 3 days later for my family which was a hit! The only down side is the hours.
