Taqueros Mexican Restaurant

I heard there was a new owner, so wanted to check this place out. The restaurant is in the middle of a non-descript strip mall, easy to dismiss, but don't! You'll be missing out on some authentic Mexican cooking. I always consider it a good sign about the quality of an ethnic restaurant when people of the same ethnicity frequent the place. Taqueros had a steady stream of Hispanic customers, most getting take out. I understand that on Taco Tuesday, the line can be out the door. Chile relleno is my "go to" for evaluating a Mexican restaurant and this one was one of the best I've ever had! Typically you start with bites of only breading and work your way to the cheese and chile. I didn't deconstruct the plate, but I'm guessing that they split and splayed the chile, then loaded it with cheese - the end result being there was chile and cheese in every bite! SOOOOO good! Los tacos de nopales are damn good The drinks are delicious and the customer service is great. Vegetarian options: Create your own veggie options . Plenty of veggies to choose from. Kid-friendliness: Chairs are low enough for young kids to sit and enjoy there meal. Parking: Parking directly across from restaurant. Street parking is also available.
