NO GOOD Yesterday we decided to give it a shot to this place, bad decision. We went and try to open the door around 11:35 and it was closed even though they open at 11 AM, we were about to leave when the waitress opened the door and told us they were open so we entered the establishment just to find a place outdated and unwelcoming, the waitress apologized for been late and gave us chips and salsa and a menu that was more like a book with 7 pages, I mean for a small place like that was way too much but still we wanted to try the food, we saw a dish that we want and is hard to find, chilaquiles and my wife and I ordered the same, my wife had water and I ordered a watermelon water. Water was way too sweet so I asked for a lemon to add it to the water. The Food was good but I asked for more sauce. When I need the check it was 41 dollars and I asked why and the waitress Told me that it was five dollars for the watermelon water $24 dollars for both dishes, 1.50 for the lemons and 3.00
Food is okay nothing special about it. I order a torta a quesadilla 3 tacos (steak shrimp and Al pastor) one jarrito and the price came up to $46.55 there is a 15% (service fee) not a tip just for dining in. ( that is crazy) anyways I don’t think I’ll be coming back, service fee and prices are a bit high
I order the queso birria, I should have known it was not going to be good, it only took them a couple of minutes to do it and instead of a crunchy tortilla it was soggy. The consome broth was like nothing like a consome. The rice was hard. Only went there because I was making a delivery close by, should have gone to burger king.
