Taqueria Los Gallos Express

My sister and I went here at 11 am. We ordered three lengua tacos and three carne asada tacos with a side of beans. Our meal comes with a side of chips and salsa. Overall we had great service and the food tasted great. Food came out very quick. The only thing is that the tortillas could be a little softer.

Delicious open salsa bar and self-serve warmed chips at this mostly take-out taqueria location. Vintage Galaga video game also fun add. Yes, the signature soft tacos were delicious - a normal adult likely eats more than one - but the salsa is the highlight. Ordered a super burrito (to share) which was perfectly folded to not come apart and also mixed beautifully without all the dry items at one end (pet peeve). Again, adding salsa seemed imperative. Opted to eat in. Might have been a undesirable option. While the upbeat MTV Hispanic tunes and video game noises were lovely, that off-brand Pinesol smell permeated most of the interior ruining the experience. Overall, staff was excellent, salsa excellent, food well prepared but bland, take-out recommended.

I’ve been here twice, and let me first say the food is excellent. But both times they forgot part of my order (once dine-in, once takeout). The first time, the staff were quick to fix it. But today, when they made one plate incorrectly and forgot another plate entirely, they gave my boyfriend a really hard time about it when he went back and were extremely rude to him (specifically one particular employee, possibly the manager). I don’t understand why you’d argue with a customer in front of everyone over three flautas and a side of red sauce. Not sure we’ll be going back. Get it together! ????
