This place is boujee AF. From the outside it looks like any other hole in the wall taco place but you step inside and it’s pretty happening. I really like the atmosphere. The clientele is very diverse, primarily Latino but there are plenty of white and black customers when I’ve been there. The food in my opinion is very expensive (forgot to take a pic of the menu) and it’s just OK. There are plenty of taquerias nearby that have better food but aren’t as hip or as Americanized. The menu is in both English and Spanish and all the staff is truly bilingual so it’s much friendlier for non-Spanish speaker. It was almost $30 for some flautas, 2 barbacoa tacos and an order of elote (that was gross and I ended up not eating, elote is not hard to make or so I thought).
On a recent visit from out of town, my daughter brought me here. She made me drive 45 min. out of my way to get here b/c according to her this is the only place in the Dallas area with comparable (good) food to home (Chicago area) Here's my review: This place has a good atmosphere, great tasting food, and never-before-seen-by-ME table robotic food delivery! I was slightly amazed as were quite a few people who walked in. When it would sense people in front of it, it would stop. But really all that thing needed to do was say something quietly like, "Beep. Beep. Excuse me.Trying to deliver food." You have to see it to believe it if you've never experienced it before. I would've given 5 stars had we had a place to sit right away, but this locale is small-so you might have to wait if it's especially busy and you'd like to dine in. Other than that, Taqueria Los Angeles definitely deserves a visit.
Great portions of delicious quality food for the price! The quesadilla is massive! Tacos were so savory! This place can get very busy at peak times do come between those times and you won’t regret it. Coming back here again to try out the rest of the menu!
