My husband and I love La Loma. He brought me to the one in Akron for the 1st time while we were still dating. They have the most authentic Mexican food in Ohio. Everything is delicious. They’ve expanded their menu which is great and I’m happy that they’re doing so well and have another location In Canton. The success is much deserved. The only other item I would love to see on the menu one day is chicken soup! So simple I know but it just warms the soul and the Mexican way is so much better than your average chicken soup.
I wish I could give more stars than 5 because this place deserves them all. Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a huge Mexican food lover but this place has won me over. For starters, even on a Saturday night there was ample parking and little to no wait to get a table. The waiter was super attentive and helpful for our selections. The food was incredible. I had the chicken and cheese quesadilla and it was like a grilled cheese with chicken. My wife got the street tacos and was very impressed even for a connoisseur of Mexicana. The horchatta was delicious and refillable. The best part was the bill was less than $40 for 2 people. Incredible! Come check out this amazing value hidden gem! Also, when you're finished in the restaurant, you have to check out the grocery store attached. It features all your authentic favorites and a bakery for your favorite Mexican treats. ????
Ordered take out for family! We ordered a mix of dishes, including the fajita quesadilla, taco salad, birria tacos, and tamales. Everything was delicious (although a hair soggy due to take out) so I can only imagine what it would be like fresh for dine in. Overall, delicious flavors - would recommend.
