Taqueria 27 Fashion Place

Food was ok, not very tasty, I really expect more flavors, we ordered Jr's Street Corn and got Guacamole, our server noticed it almost when we were finishing it, we wouldn't complaint about it, she was busy, I had a carne asada burrito and my husband had the Marinated and Grilled Chicken Breast, he had the same impression, tasteless food. Service was good. It was ok for a fast dinner.

I was so excited to have lunch here. The server was great, food was horrible. I have eaten here a lot, I had the pear tacos. Pears were hard and hardly any filling in the middle. One taco had two beets in it . Bummer I was still hungry when I got home.

Tonight, Our server Josh was great! He was patient and answered a bunch of our questions, and was nice! We ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer, and we didn't like the Chipotle salsa (honestly not even sure why it comes as an option with the chips--it's like a sauce, not a salsa), and our server was amazing and told us he'd bring us another one, so he brought us the verde salsa (after asking us), and we enjoyed it. The food was okay. It was WAY overpriced, and not that warm. I got steak enchiladas. The sauce was not very warm at all on top. I'd much rather spend that amount of money at a more authentic Mexican restaurant like Mi Ranchitos or Maria's or Los Garcias, something like that, plus I feel like I get more food there, and the chips and salsa are free at most places like that. Also weird how their credit card reader automatically puts the tip amount to 22%. Our server deserved a good tip, but I don't ever do more than the standard 20%, and most people I know don't, either.
