This place is far more than just a restaurant, it's a portal straight to Spain. The music on the stage, the atmosphere, and the food & wine are all top notch and beautiful. Joseph really puts his heart into this place and there's nothing better than an authentic restaurant where you can feel the love in everything in done! If you've never experienced true Spaniard dishes, try the sampler with a good Spanish red. Obviously the seafood and sausage paella because your taste buds will thank you.
Awesome outdoor atmosphere right along the canal in Old Town Scottsdale. Live band was excellent and provided a nice ambience. Service was great! We tried the “Taste of Spain” which offered a great variety of their appetizers and entrees. One order was enough for 2 of us to share. The paella was amazing, very authentic! The Crema Catlana dessert was also really good. Would definitely go back!
We got several tapas to share around our table. The beef tenderloin was amazing, but the salmon with ink sauce wasn't anything special. Neither was the cod or the lemon chicken. We asked the server to split the food three ways and we'd pay for our own drinks. The server brought us one big check split into three parts, drinks and all - so even though I had no alcohol, I was paying a third of the five drinks my companions had. We brought it up to the server, but he was very rude and insisted we never told him and acted like there was no way he could fix it. He ended up separating the food and the drinks into two different checks, but he ran each card for each check even though we said don't run my card on the drink check. We finally gave up - we needed the receipts for meal reimbursement, but I guess I'm out $60.
