TAP24 Bar & Grill

Had dinner here tonight. It is a neighborhood restaurant for us so we went. Someone else mentioned they are having an identity crisis and boy were they right. Got the fish and chips and the fish was undercooked the first time. They replaced it for us but it was still super greasy, frozen fish. I got the chicken panini but replaced the bread with the focaccia bread. This was definitely not focaccia bread. It was crazy hard pita bread that was more of a hockey puck than bread, it was so hard. Will not be going back until they figure themselves out.

I never leave reviews but i had to share what my sister and i experienced at this restaurant today. we’ve visited here multiple times before covid with no issues so we decided to come back for some dinner. she orders a pasta that grossed her out so much to the point where she lost her appetite because of how “chewy” and frozen the chicken in her pasta tasted. i ordered a sandwich that came chopped up into 4, while eating my third piece i noticed on the piece i didn’t touch, there was a hair sticking out of it! needless to say we lost our appetite. thankfully we didn’t have to pay for anything, but the service could’ve been better as no one came to check on us at all, we had to wave down our waiter just to return the pasta and then had to call over the host so they could take back the sandwich. disappointing to say the least.

This place is both a hidden gem and an institution. It’s so delicious and they make all their own dressings and you can tell they put that level of effort into all their food. The quality and taste is excellent.
