This little restaurant has been open since 2012 and I am so happy that it made it through the covid crisis. There is no bus a there anymore which was my favorite but, there is a small menu to choose from. Lunch special $12.99 get a choice of two small entrees, rice and cucumber salad. There are seven comfortable boots in there and a half a dozen tables. There is a small patio in the front. Just a heads up there is no parking on 5th and University. There's a little parking lot on 4th that you pay and there is one on Robinson at Rite Aid. You can pay at.
Went into tandoori hut with high expectations, glad I did. Food was great with huge portions for thier lunch specials. Would definitely come back when in SD. The chai is very authentic and some of the best in town.
Wonderful Halal Food! The restaurant offers a variety of delicious Halal food items that I would highly recommend. Here are a few must-try dishes: Chicken Tikka Masala Daal Fry Chicken Seekh Kabab Garlic Naan On the other hand, there were a couple of dishes that didn't meet my expectations. I wouldn't recommend the following: Chicken 65: This dish was extremely tough and difficult to chew. It didn't live up to the tenderness. Bhindi Masala: There were a few pieces of bhindi that were not well-cooked and hard to chew. Moving on to the ambiance, I found it to be quite pleasant. The restaurant had MTV playing on the TV screens, so if you have kids, it's advisable to make arrangements accordingly. Moreover, the plates and tables were creatively decorated with traditional Indian display items, adding an authentic touch to the dining experience.
