Tallulah's Taqueria

This spot was in a cute complex full of other food and dessert options, it looked bright, new, clean. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, so expected it to be a bit crowded. But Tallulah's was empty with lots of options for seating. The arrangement looked a bit like an upscale Chipotle, but the food tasted more authentic for sure. We especially like the Barbacoa tacos. This place will be your sweet spot especially if you have a palate for sour/tangy foods, everything we tried on the menu including the sauces were super tangy. We didn't care too much for the quesadilla, it was mostly just hardened cheese slaw. Our only criticism was we visited an hour into them opening and all the meet though super flavorful, was cold and bit tough.

Perfect street fare taco shack. Don’t skip the carne asada with creme. The seasoned chips are a great fit for the salsa verde.

Tallulah's Taqueria is an excellent place to go for authentic Mexican food. The ingredients are fresh. The menu is simple yet extensive. Meat and vegetarian options available. Substitutions are allowed. Pandemic update: indoor dining it's not allowed, but, fortunately for patrons and diners, there are two large outdoor patio areas, on each side of the building, which is located on Ives Street, which includes mixed use commercial, retail, and residential space in the affluent East Side neighborhood of Providence.
