Taki's

The staff is super nice, the food excellent, the prices so low I worry about their bottom line, and the atmosphere charming. They even accommodated me when I showed up 5 minutes before they closed up--didn't realize they were scheduled to close at 2pm, but they kept inviting people in. I asked about the closing time, they said they "just kind of wing it" each day. When people stop showing up, they close. Love this place! Totally going here whenever I'm downtown.

First time going to takis today and ordered a steak breakfast got there and my order was wrong they gave me a pork bacon breakfast (i don’t eat pork) when I returned the food the cashier wanted to debate with me saying I did order that meal why would I order bacon if I don’t eat pork. Eventually we got the orders switch out but when I received the steak it looked decent but had no sear on it and looked nothing like the steak their menu had pictured so I decided to get a refund and be done with it. When I asked for my refund the cook told me he’ll give half refund I told him the food is untouched and I want a full refund he then tells me fine but not to come back which didn’t need to be said I’ll never go back. He gave me 20 and I paid 28 when I went back in for the rest of my money they wanted to debate about what was actually owed when I tried to get the cashier who cashed out both orders to confirm what was paid she basically just stayed quiet. This place needs to do better first imp

This is their Greek salad. It’s very very poorly done. I’m very let down by the sub quality of the ingredients. $9 for this salad. Will not visit again
