Tai Tai Japanese

I ordered the poke bowl to go. The sauces are amazing and really make the dish! They recently opened and don't have a building sign up yet, but they are just to the left of Starbucks in the Happy Canyon shopping center. It's a small place with lots of counter seating and a few tables. The service was great and I received my order quickly despite them being busy.

We live a couple of blocks from Tai Tai, and we are so excited to have them in the neighborhood! The Happy Canyon marketplace has been needing a cool restaraunt. Tai Tai has good quality (mostly basic) sushi options for a great price. No tummy troubles here! We ordered takeout with the wagyu sashimi (kind of small for the price, but it was admittedly really tasty), the Zen Style Salmon roll (probably my favorite), Rocky Mountain Roll, and the Yellowtail Roll, as well as a side of edamame. We really liked everything we bought - will definitely be coming back as much as we can!

Please put it on maps and put up an obvious sign that dine in is closed because you can't find enough sushi chefs so nobody wastes their time coming down here. Also interesting that there is a 12% up charge to order pick up or take out online with only a portion going to the employees and a notice that you take credit card processing fees out of their tips. I wonder why you can't find sushi chefs, but the sushi restaurant up the street doesn't seem to have this problem. Pay your employees what they are worth.
