Tacos Walnut Creek

Enjoyed a refreshing taco salad at this casual local taqueria last week one steamy hot late afternoon. The service was speedy and upbeat despite the heat outside. This location offers a tasty salsa bar and self-serve heated tortilla chips, outdoor seating and large open indoor seating as well. I was a bit sad to see slow traffic in the restaurant but take-out orders were booming. The staff kept busy-busy cleaning every tiny tortilla chip crumb and rogue Pico de Gallo particle while dancing a bit to the good music so mood was high despite the emptiness. Salad was not a-mazing but met expectations, well worth the price would return. Parking is paid meters.

The only authentic, Mexican, Al Pastor Taco shop in Walnut Creek.Try the Jalisco Al Pastor tacos. They are delicious!...Even when my husband isn't hungry, he will eat one!....The house made salsas taste fresh and with just the right amount of heat to make you sweat with hot pepper happiness????????

I thought because it had so many stars it would be good. I was wrong ! This place in my opinion is trash or maybe I just didn’t order the right thing. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was nice that’s why it got 2 stars but the food itself was so not what I expected in a bad way. The Guacamole was not avocado . It was liquefied avocado mixed with a salsa. The cheese enchiladas tasted like burnt soup sauce from a can. The rice was very dry not fresh , but the beans I did like . They had a really good flavor and a good amount of cheese.
