Update 8/27/23 No more El Taco Yaki. No more nopales. Salsas are bland. Sad times indeed. ******** Update 7/25/18: They stopped offering the "Frijoles de Olla" in the salsa bar. ???? That is literally the reason I used to go to their other location. I don't think it costs that much to offer that ????. And... no discounted refills on the Agua Frescas ???? ******** El Yaki Taco!!! O.M.G.???? Fresh Frijoles dela Olla ???? Fresh Aguas - Cucumber Cilantro ???? Huge Plates. Love this place!
You must go here with an appetite. Because the portions are huge and the food is delicious. They have a very nice outdoor patio area that is very colorful. Or you can get your food to go. Very obvious how much pride they take in their food, as everything is cooked to order with fresh ingredients.
I was visiting from Los Angeles, stopped at liquor store asked for a recommendation for Mexican food they pointed us here!! Food was delicious the two young men had excellent customer service. I ordered chicken tacos, and my uncle ordered 2 fish burritos, California burrito and carne asada fries. We can't wait for our next visit to San Diego first stop will be here!!
