HOMEMADE FLOUR TORTILLAS for the burritos!! Fast friendly service and delicious food, I don't know where I went wrong the first time I visited here over 10 years ago, but I'm so glad my friend made me go back!!
Honestly, I was excited to try their food. It looked promising. The first bite I took I realized what I ordered was garbage. The meat tasted over cooked, reheated and stale. The flour tortilla seemed undercooked. The onion added some flavor but over all it tasted gross. It kinda felt like the "stove" they were cooking on was microwave. Besides the meat and the tortilla, the other ingredients tasted fresh, but that is about it. I was very disappointed.
I have gone to a lot of taco spots in Waukegan, North Chicago, & Zion. I have 3 favorites & this is #1. I get the meal which is 3 tacos, rice & beans, it's about $9.80 but the tacos are sizeable. $2.20 each without rice & beans. If that is too much for my pockets I go to my 2nd fav spot which is great as well! What's are your favorite taco joints?
