Where's the beef!!! My husband ordered a burrito. It looked like it had 2 small pieces of steak that was cooked 2 weeks ago, with lots of tomato and lettuce to fatten it up so it would look like a burrito. It didn't look like the steak came off the grill, but from a bowl of left overs. He was very disappointed. Additionally, my first thought was, "uh, uh, honey, that does not look like a burrito." Yes, if you expect a burrito you should have something hearty looking. And, sadly, the cook looked like he didn't even want to be there!!!
Such disappointment with the cheese enchiladas with mole sauce. These were burned from the bottom, as you can see in the picture I am including; barely any mole sauce. As for the rice it was somewhat raw.
The Mayan steak tacos and blackened shrimp tacos we're awesome! I also loved how the refried beans were served in a small taco bowl shell. My only complaint is there was no sides of hot sauce in my take out order, that should be standard for any Mexican restaurant. I have ordered food here several times over the last couple of years. Consistently good food, but I was a little disappointed last night. I ordered enchiladas with avocado. They charged $1.89 for a few thin slices of avocado. Also, the refried beans did not come in a small taco bowl shell like usual.
