Taco Lita

I’m sorry but my boys and I were truly disappointed. I spotted this restaurant on my way back to Riverside,the name and signage reminded me of Taco Tia based in the Inland Empire. Taco Tia is local favorite that been around for 45 plus years. We ordered the one Wednesday Special Combo as taste test before ordering more. Taco Tia offers a Wednesday special as well so I was expecting a delicious burrito/taco. The taco meat was cold and no flavor. The combo burrito was full cold beans and dry meat/flavorless meat. I notice the Taco Lita sauce was unavailable and substituted with packets of Heinz Taco Sauce . I would of expected better taco Sauce. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff was nice.

This is old school hard shell tacos from the 70s and 80s. The ground beef is perfectly seasoned and goes perfectly with the creamy shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, and a slice of tomatoe. What really makes this taco is their special mild Taco Lita taco sauce. I put about 4 to 5 of these per taco! So good! Three of these tacos are perfect for a meal. There is also their massive burritos which have huge amounts of their refried beans, seasoned ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, and tomatoes. Two people can eat it, easily. They have a Wednesday special: 3 tacos and a drink for $8.95, and a Friday special: 5 tacos for $8.95. These are great deals since a taco is $2.45 each. Go try!!!

Very simple american style tacos/burritos. Ground beef, deliciously crunchy taco shell, lots of cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Simple but delicious. The taco lita sauce is amazing when they have it. Unfortunately due to supply chain issues they don't always have it on hand I guess. Regardless, the food is great.
