This place used to be the bomb. Great food, great prices, great quality of service. However, their ability to get food out the door has suffered greatly. Normally I have been able to order and get food through the drive through in 10 minutes. This time I had to drive back through the drive-thru, and park, as someone in my car could not wait 15+ minutes to order, and get our food. I had to park, take them to the restroom and reorder the food from scratch. The catch? There are THREE cooks in the back, and the place is not packed. Normally one fast cook in the back can handle the load. Three people and they cannot get it done. Despite all this, the food is still genuinely good Mexican food. Normally I would say worth the wait, but it’s coming up on 50 minutes as I write this.
Taco King never misses! The food is delicious!! Love getting their shrimp burritos, cucumber pineapple agua frescas, tostada bowls and horchata shakes. And not to mention, the owners are so sweet!
Looks like new ownership. Food was ok. Will try the Carnes tacos next. Al pastor, Carne asada, carnitas.
