Sylvester's Bistro and Wine Bar

Food is very good and the bartender Josh was great. But we didn't appreciate the owner's youngest daughter constantly walking by our table, and other tables. It was very annoying. Just some constructive criticism.

I'm 61 years old & Italian! Syvester's serves the worst Italian food in the country. Total dog food! Actually, I would not serve this food to a dog! Veal that was frozen, reheated, overcooked - like shoe leather. Italian wedding soup that was very oiley & bland. Calamari, frozen, reheated, tasted like rubber! Atmosphere? This place is stuck in the 1970's! Poor lighting, dirty tablecloths. Please, please stay far away from this God awful restaurant. One star is a generous rating for this dump!

We had an excellent dinner at Sylvester's in Fountain Hills. My husband had the Mahi Mahi special. The fish was very fresh surrounded by an assortment of vegetables. I had Flatbread topped with veggies, cheese and Pastrami. Wonderful taste. The menu looks great, something for all. The selection of wines is excellent. We will be back and recommend them to friends and the Fountain Hills community. Compliments to Paul the owner, and the great chef. Emi the waitress was professional, great smile, and sense of humor.
