This was a hard one because it came highly recommended by my lil brother. So we were all looking forward to it. Unfortunately, we were sooo disappointed. It was mediocre at best. We were seated promptly and there is no reservation needed. Our food came out promptly and they didn't seem very busy. We sent the steaks back because there was too much gristle. I'm sorry, but at $38 for a 10oz I expect a good cut of beef. My salmon was dry and flavorless, the Mac and cheese was mushy, and the fried clams were chewy. To top it off the apple pie was squashed. Taylor's service was okay and she was nice. I do wish she would have kept our drinks topped off, the table clear, and replaced that pie. The lighting is terrible. There is no bar here, but you can purchase beer and wine. The staff also sings if they chose to. Now we can say we tried it, but we will definitely not be back. It was not worth it.????????
We went on a date night here, walked in and they already were taking us to a table, just like that…… our waiter was awesome! He suggested a ribeye and pork chops and we share them, so we did! Steak was great, my wife said that was the best cooked steak she ever had. The pork chops were huge! So good, cut like butter. Overall we had a great experience here, food was great , wait staff was great, had a good time
Had a hankering for a steak but too dang cold to cook one outside. Had gone to Babes next door couple days back and told myself i need to come back to check it out. The place is a little on the smaller side and place was packed at dinner. Since I was solo, I got a table in 10 minutes. Got seated and rolls were brought to the table. Made my selection and started on the rolls. Have to admit, the rolls were great. I had two and could have had another but decided to hold back. Steak came and I cut into it and it was medium rare as i asked. Since it was a ribeye, there was a fair amount of gristle and fat u have to work around. The steak came aggressively seasoned with a lot of salt and pepper so i could not fully appreciate the meat. Also had some trouble cutting into it, maybe the steak knife was dull. Steak was OK, i didnt care for the overseasoning. Mushrooms were awesome and the mac and cheese was pedestrian and relatively tasteless. The cowboy custard was good and generous in portion
