Best food I’ve had since I came to Georgia. Been here four days. And I’m feeling loved right now. This food is like pure love. Makes me feel like I’m back home where the people really love to cook and care about their food.
Customer Service was very helpful bc me being germaphobic I needed just one glove before using self service. It wasn't as big compared to Golden corral so selection isn't big. Very intimate yet very inviting. However the food they do have is very southern homecook tasty taste. My first time been there since the pandemic. Went Saturday bc thats their wings day they add to the menu. Hot n lemon pepper. I only got a plate for my kids with a little lot of everything in it for $17. Not bad better than fast food. Not better than DONNIE COUNTRY COOKING on Beaver Ruin. Very grateful that they food have real quality in them. Recommended if you don't wanna to Golden corral and you can't get to Donnie Country Cooking. Next Best Place on my list. I hope this can help someone make they minds up. God bless.
I remember when this was once a Shoney's restaurant 30 years ago. My wife and I have been going here for over 20 years. But it has gone down from being a reasonably priced restaurant, having a meal, drink and tip for less than $20. The price increases along with the elimination of including a drink for a senior meal has raised the price to close to $30 for the two of us. This combined with the so-so quality of the food makes it no longer an attractive place for us to dine. Also I went for breakfast a few months ago and all the food was cold even though the servings were probably in the heated trays for at least an hour. I don't think the food trays were heated up when the food was placed in them. I will now go to Golden Corral or Waffle house for breakfast.
