The newly opened restaurant isn't south Indian anymore. The ambiance is better than before. Samosas were good, the honey chilly cauliflower was just dipped in tomato ketchup. Tamarind rice was good, veg biryani was really bad, I didn't like it. We took the leftover biryani home and found a piece of chicken, seriously?? I am vegetarian, chai was the worst, don't order it.
They are still good food though with the prior owner it was a bit better to my taste. Don't expect good service either, 3 "Servers" the last day I went there and none new what they were doing. To me with the old owner 3 years ago 9/10 now 7/10. If there is a choice as long as they are buffet, I'm listening....
we had a Buffet Lunch. 2 appetizers, 2 dessert s, 4 dishes for vegetarians. The food was tasty. expensive for my blood. 19$/plate. The place was clean. the cook(also owner I think) came over to check on us. it is complete self service place. you pick your own water (right next to buffet table). I would say $13/ plate would have been a fair price I have have had more exquisite spread, decor and service for $15 a plate.
