Sussex Bowl

Stopped in for a late afternoon fish fry pick up that I had called in earlier. Only went to the bar to pick up my food and pay for it. It was pretty quiet in there with a few folks at the bar, but it was around 2:30 in the afternoon. Fish fries were 3 pieces with fries or potatoe pancakes and slaw, tarter and rye bread. About $15. Pretty good. I was happy with it and would order it again. I had the potato pancakes and they too were great! Friendly staff. Actually, I wish I had one of their fish fries right now....

There with a large group & ordered food. No complaints about anything ordered, & food specially ordered was delivered hot & as ordered. Staff took orders quickly & food for such a large group was delivered in a timely manor. All the people sitting at the table got their food all at once, not like some places where 2 are served and others wait while food gets cold. Staff did an excellent job of keeping refills coming.

I stopped in for a beer to kill some time before an appointment. It was nice and clean, bartendress was very friendly, I only stayed 30 minutes but I liked it and will stop back for further evaluation and will update this review once further experience is attained.
