Really great Japanese food! Highly recommend. Sashimi is very fresh. Katsu Donburi and sushi are also very good.
Hey guys my name is Nolan and I’m going to every sushi restaurant in Arizona. Today I’m at Sushi Sen. The vibe and music walking in was pretty average. Drinks were cold and cheap during happy hour. We got the eel avocado, salmon tempura, chunky spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and crab mix, dynamite roll, crispy gyoza, spring rolls, and spicy crispy tuna. The sushi and drinks were really good. So Sushi Sen in Scottsdale I give it a 7.6 out of 10.
Excellent sushi—served at just the right temperature for texture and taste. The kitchen is FAST, even when the restaurant is packed. Be aware that the size of the fish slices are about twice as big as at most sushi restaurants. So order less sushi than you normally would up front—you can add more later.
