Sushi Ryokan

This place has never let me down, in the 2 years that I have been going here they only got my order wrong twice. And honestly I wasn't even mad it still tasted amazing. Love the Atlantic roll.

We arrived here at approximately 230pm on a Thursday afternoon. It was not too busy and we were seated right away. We were able to make their happy hour and enjoyed reduced pricing on a generous happy hour menu. Or meal started with their seasoned edamame. It was DELICIOUS! I've had other seasoned edamame that I thought was good, but this one was even better and with a nice kick. Yum! We enjoyed it with sake and a beer. We tried different sushi rolls. All delicious and fairly priced. I would have liked a little more attentiveness. It took a bit of time to get the ginger and wasabi for our meal. They didn't bring it at the beginning as normal. And it also took us a bit to get our check. However since it was my first time, for all I know it could have just been an off day for them. Even with that, when they were serving us, they were nice and not rude so, I still give them high stars. Oh!! The creativity, execution, and quality of the sushi here is out of this world! My first time here, and they have made a lasting impression. Alberto was my sushi chef and he was phenomenal! The chirashi bowl and the ocean trout sushi were too good!
