Very good, if not truly exceptional, sushi and Japanese cuisine-- about what you would expect for the price point. The ocean view from the outdoor dining area is reason enough for a visit. Vegetarian options: Lots of excellent vegetarian options. The appetizers in particular are worth a look.
Food was great. A bit expensive, but very delicious. Amazing view right across from the beach. Quick service and very attentive waiters. Dine in and patio dining is available. We were seated right away and the patio area is really nice.
We recently stayed in Santa Monica and are very glad to have discovered Sushi Roku at Ocean and Santa Monica. The food and service were both exceptional! We loved it so much we ate here 3 nights in a row. Needless to say, we highly recommend it.
