Sushi Rock

Not Impressed. The place was mostly empty, and that says it not popular. The service is dull and slow. Maybe a smile costs extra? The lights were a bit too low for no particular reason. The overall atmosphere seems a little outdated. My sushi arrived with very little ginger and no Wasabi. Why did I have to ask for Wasabi with sushi? It's supposed to be there already! The pricing is higher than other Japanese restaurants in the area, but the portions are the same. The quality is average. Just being only "ok" is not enough to earn my return business when there are better choices available.

The food was pretty good. I was there for lunch, and enjoyed a sushi sashimi special. There was only one server so it took a little long.

This place is huge and it does looks like its been here for years...I started with the avocado salad with spicy crab and it was fresh and delicious....the honey miso dressing its really good. Then I asked for the chicken pad thai noodles were over cooked and there was not a lot of flavor didn't feel the peanuts either. My spouse asked for the teriyaki steak great presentation but not a lot of flavor.....fried banana dessert was good....
