Sushi Little Tokyo Restaurant

Great sushi and bento boxes! I will say though that the server was pretty new and kind of rude to my mom. She asked her 2 separate times if my mom wanted soup, then purposely didn’t bring her any but brought everyone else bowls who didn’t even order soup. Maybe just a mistake, but seemed intentional considering it was after she kindly asked for a lunch menu and what the specials were, and the server seemed increasingly mad that she didn’t know the answers to our questions and had to go to the back to ask. When my mom mentioned it to the group quietly after the server left, the server came up and singled my mom out to ask her if anything was wrong with how she was serving her. My mom, being kind, said no of course not but it was really rude how the server went about saying it: confrontational. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant too. Thankfully I worked as a server and know what most people are like, but my group was never disrespectful to the server. I probably will do take

The food was all good. The ginger dressing was well balanced and not too oniony; the tonkatsu ramen was flavorful and rich. The roll was a little too wide to easily eat, but overall, a good experience.

One of my favorite places I had frequently at least once a month. I typically had the Bulgogi Udon, but the sushi and gyoza were always a great addition. If you can, dine-in. The staff, though few, are wonderful and will show you great service. You cannot go wrong.
