This is our FAVORITE sushi place around! The food is great and the fish is fresh - they told us they get 2 shipments a day! Jeff is a great and personable server and we have never been disappointed! Hamachi Jalapeño, Firecracker Tuna, 2-in-1 Roll, Sexy Mexican are some of our favorites! But you also can't go wrong w/ Gyoza, spicy edamame, fried rice, pad Thai and the Sake-tini! The menu is awesome!
I don't why all the negative reviews....I had the salmon and either I was hungry or it was cooked to perfection,probably both,they are expecting a large crowd and at the time it was slow they have a over abundance of employees and mostly watch you while you eat,GET A BROOM!!! Anyways it was pleasant I was satisfied!
Had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar. The chef provided great conversation and information about each dish that we ordered. Overall some of freshest and best tasting dishes I have had in the Chicagoland. Even better than the two I recently visited in San Fran and Oakland. The wait was not long, service was welcoming, fast and attentive! A definite go to in Downers Grove.
