My dad and I just tried this restaurant last Saturday, and it was AWESOME! We had the beef tataki appetizer and plum wine sake to drink. He ordered two sushi rolls (the Hot Tonight and the All-Star Spicy Lobster) and I got the Unajyu (eel over rice). We shared the entrées, and we had the tempura cheesecake dessert. Everything was so delicious and I can’t wait to eat here again!

Ordered the chicken teriyaki and Sushi Lunch combo A. Although the sushi sounds like a good value, the rolls were extremely small and pretty basic. The chicken teriyaki had more emphasis placed on the presentation than the taste, as it was fairly bland and lacking the rich deep flavors of traditional Asain cuisine. In terms of the atmosphere, the restaurant is not well kept. Duct tape used to fix wobbly tables, etc. Additionally, despite the restaurant being slow, the waiter did not do a good job attending to our needs. Overall, it was just a very disappointing experience. If you're looking for a good sushi/asian restaurant in Greenville, there are several others downtown that I would recommend over Sushigo. I did not try the ramen, but I will say that the ramen looked appetizing at least.
