sushi was good however they werent as fresh, fair price point for 2 about 50$ service was good they could use another waitress though was getting busy they only had one waitress
Waiter on the floor was too busy to take our order even though there were empty tables and didn’t seem too busy. I ended up going to the bar myself to get drinks. The bartender was helpful the whole time and helped us more than the waiter. The soup I ordered was cold, we ordered two rolls that were super dry and came out 15 minutes apart from each other.
I gave it 1 star because the waitstaff was very kind. The food is terrible. If you like grocery store sushi... I'd honestly recommend to stick with that. This place is a half step down from there for certain. I will not be returning. We got veggie tempura, cherry blossom roll, and unagi nigiri. The veggie tempura wasn't tempura batter. It was onion ring/fry batter. Their dipping sauce was far too salty, like a watered down soy sauce. The array of vegetables they choose to give was thoroughly disappointing. It was mostly bell pepper, a scant few onions, a zucchini, some carrot, sweet potato, and broccoli. Along with extra burnt crumblings from tempura past. The cherry blossom roll was 16.50. That is a hefty price for a sushi roll. The seaweed was chewy, the fish was poor quality and cut insanely thin. Nothing had any flavor. The eel on the inside wasn't seasoned nor sauced in any way I could tell. The salmon skin roll showed some promise because it was crunchy.... but that was it. No fl
