My son & I have been enjoying Sushi 101 for years! We honestly have always had a good experience. We tend to like to sit out on the patio, if the weather is nice, but they have a fun atmosphere. To start, we HAVE to order the pan fried gyoza and edamame. If you are not a sushi fan, they have some delicious teriyaki and noodle bowls. The Crunch California Roll has a fried exterior that is always a fun texture to add to any meal. It's a great spot!
Fast service, polite staff, and reasonably priced. The noodles were tasty, but the sushi lacked the fresh taste I am familiar with. Food : 3/5 | Service : 4/5 | Atmosphere : 3/5 … More
My husband and I have eaten here since they opened. Maybe 15 years or more. We went yesterday for lunch. 12 pm. 2 people eating inside. We asked if we could sit outside because it was a beautiful 70 degree day. We were told the outside was closed. So we ordered our food to go. Cleaned off the table and chairs and ate outside. We have noticed the last few times we have been there, the crowds are less and less. Now we know why. The sushi was marginal at best and really no better than what you get in the case at Harris Teeter. We both agreed that this was the worst sushi we had ever had here. It makes me sad to think how much we liked going here all these years and it is now like this. We also agreed that we will never go back. Yama is just up the street and is much better. I might have to wait for a table at Yama, but at least the food is worth it. I fully expect this place will go out of business soon. They might say the pandemic had something to do with no one coming there anymore, bu
