I love the lemon potatoes here. So much lemon! The sweet potato fries were cooked perfect: soft inside and crispy outside. The tomatoes on my gyros wrap and tabouli were dark red and actually tasted like tomato, which is hard to find unfortunately, so nice job to whoever selected those!
Food is excellent! That being said, the people who work here, especially the owner, act like they would rather have a knife between the eyes than work a minute in customer service. I have been to this location a couple dozen times at this point and the moment you enter, you are treated as an inconvenience. Condescending would be the best way to describe the staff. Changing my review to 1-star now that I have realized my experience is common at the restaurant. Note the bitter and antagonist replies to valid negative criticism and that the majority of reviews in recent months are negative, citing the bad attitudes and service. If you care about how you’re treated as a customer, go to Forte Mediterranean Bistro in Ladera. Otherwise it’s a very good spot for food. Editing this to respond to the owner response: The employee who is most commonly disrespectful is the muscular, tattooed one who seems to be a veteran. I have had employees, like him, challenge me on what I ordered, despite my re
The food was alright, nothing special at all, kind of small portion sizes for the price. Definitely not the best Greek food in the area by any means. Two stars is mainly for the surly customer service and hostile environment though. Have been in here several times and each time the workers are in an outright sour mood.... If you hate customer interactions so much, why are you working here? It kind of ruins the experience. Also the owner's responses to poor reviews is very telling of the argumentative, defensive attitude you will receive if you choose to eat here. Childish anger, petty responses and no accountability. Changed to one star for the predictable surly response from the owner/no accountability for the lack of professionalism of the workers.
