Super Albert Mexican Food

I wandered in to Super Albert tonight after having passed it innumerable times on my way to other places. First thing that struck me was how clean and interesting it is in inside. Pictures of Zapata but also other types of memorabilia cover the walls. The woman behind the counter was extremely helpful and patient. I ordered a breakfast burrito (eggs, potatoes & cheese)at 9pm and my friend got a shrimp burrito. They were generously sized and simply delicious. I will definitely go back and get more adventurous with their expansive menu.

Lady swiped my card and somehow it got declined and I had money. She swiped like 3x more. But I think she read it wrong. Because I walked away she was disrespectful and made an announcement to a long line of customers that I had no money. Call the bank immediately and was on the phone with the bank and there were transactions. But 1 minute later after a person finished ordering she called me to give my receipt and said my card was charged. That was after she made the announcement and embarrassed me in front of my that I was buying food for. Another Occasion she had an issue where she did not give my Uber Eats driver food. The cook had to tell her about Uber Eats. Besides these incidents of food is good and a lot of the people are nice but I think that announcement was embarrassing and frustrating and that's just way too much. The food is always good. And the place is pretty clean.

For not being the real Alberto's in El Monte, this is decent mexican food. The nacho are really tasty. Burritos are good too. I haven't been disappointed yet.
