Sun Shine II Chinese Restaurant

So disappointed. In town for a few days. On a tight budget but wanted to splurge one evening and was craving some good chinese. Got online and after reading reviews decided on Sun Shine. Ordered sesame chicken, veggie low mein and crab rangoon. The lady was very nice. It was ready fast and it was hot. Those are the only real positives. The low mein was decent but had very few veggies at all. The sesame chicken was hard and tasted a day old, I couldn't even finish it. The rice was undercooked and crunchy. The crab Rangoon had zero crab and just like a weird whipped cream cheese filling. The portions were very small, especially for the price. I very rarely write a negative review but felt like this one was necessary. Hopefully they improve their quality and actually live up to their good reviews.

Incredible food for a great price. Has been my go to for years and do not ever see myself going elsewhere. Best sesame chicken, shrimp toast, and egg rolls!

Family run Alpharetta institution.I've been eating Sunshine for 15+ years. Looking forward to being a patron for another 15. My personal favorite is the sesame chicken but you can't go wrong with other dishes.
