We had an absolutely wonderful dinner with friends. The food was excellent, the atmosphere nice, and the service as positive and helpful as we could have asked. It is the sort of place where you could dress up a bit if you wanted to, but most people had on jeans.
We'd never been and the owner came to speak with us and share his personal favorites. When we arrived it was cozy but by the time we left every table in 3 dining rooms were full. The bread was soft inside and crisp outside as it should be. The olive oil was very fresh. The drinks were exquisitely made visually and in taste. Likewise the food was a marriage of fresh perfectly mingled flavors. Servings were not for indulgence but satisfaction. Still we took food home because everything was so rich. Please have the bacon wrapped dates. That are guaranteed to make your mouth happy. Wrapping up with anything less then the fragrant tiramisu or rich cannolis is criminal. Features: The staff wore masks.
Simply amazing. One of the best Italian restaurants in the metropolitan area. The owner came to us and in such a humble way he recommended a few options, truly you could see the passion for his food. Love the authenticity of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant.
