We had an incredible experience at Sogo! The sushi was made right in front of us at the bar, ensuring its freshness. Being situated amidst the bustling tourist scene at Pike Market added to the vibrant atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making us feel right at home. We're already looking forward to returning for another delightful visit.
Service was very friendly and the chef was nice. However, the food was underwhelming especially given the price point. I ordered the following: Spicy bay scallop: this was okay. A lot of sauce covered up the taste of the scallop. Uni + Caviar: The worst hand roll out of the three. The chef used a metal utensil to scoop caviar and the uni didn’t taste very fresh. Lobster: Overly saucy. Tasted like your typical imitation crab. After spending $54, I left hungry and disappointed.
Taste is good. Instant handmade most of the stuff. Convenient location near Pike Place market, however, smaller capacity and seat numbers are limited. Parking: Mainly paid street and garage parking nearby. Convenient.
