It’s all about the cookie. For those of you in sales or customer service, you may have seen the video by Bob Farrell (Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlors) “Give ‘Em the Pickle”. It’s an older video but still applies today. The two second version is that if a customer wants a pickle with his burger, don’t charge him for it and risk loosing the customer. Just give him the pickle! Well, our experience at this Subway was just that, except the pickle was a cookie. We were at Walmart with our four year old grandson. It had been a long day of running around and wanted to get something to eat quickly. We decided to eat at the Subway inside this Walmart simply because it was there. There was a young lady that took care of us at the counter, she was a bit uncertain of her job and appeared to be new, which is fine. My wife and I are very understanding about this type of thing. Ordered online. They said it would be done in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later when we went to pick up our order, they hadn't even started it. The employee then complained that we didn't give them enough time. Subway gave us the time that it would be ready. The employee also complained and said he was quitting in a month and we should wait to do that to someone after he leaves. We had 5 subs. Took and hour to make them.
