Stroud's Express & Catering

First off, we love Stroud's food. Unfortunately, this location just doesn't pull it off. The first time we went to this location for dine in it wasn't a smooth visit (slow and incorrect), but we gave them the benefit of the doubt because they had just opened. We tried again tonight, several months later and were turned away because they weren't cooling their dining room. No, not that the AC was broken, just that they weren't cooling the dining room. We were welcome to order take out. I'm not sure why they advertise having dine in eating if they aren't supporting it. Call ahead if you're wanting to dine in, and see if they'll let you.

We actually ate in at the restaurant The flavor of the food was good. The Chicken noodle soup was cold I sent it back for a salad. My husband and I had ordered the regular chicken dinner and split it, which you add on side dishes for the second person for $9.95. Three of the four pieces of chicken were warm at best. I thought their food was made to order, but apparently not. Once we got the hot chicken it was pretty good. Their gravy was awesome. Not sure if we will going back there to eat again.

Had a great experience, so much better than the original location (which has gone down hill since the owners passing). The chicken was cooked correctly and the lady there was very welcoming. It's weird at fist because you order from your cellphone and I'm not sure how to utilize the endless sides. But all in all the best experience at a strouds I have has in the last few years.
