The soup with dumplings was AMAZING! The noodles are springy and chewy, the veggies are fresh, the dumplings are wonderfully savoury, and the soup is so comforting on a cold day. I got it spicy and loved it, it’s perfect for someone like me who loves lip tingling spice. It’s definitely not for the spice novice though, so make sure you can handle a strong chili oil before you have this made spicy. The dish is 12$, and you get a hefty portion; you will not be hungry after finishing it! It’s the kind of food that makes you take a happy nap afterwords. The owners were so kind and you can tell they put love into this food. Can’t wait to be back, Portland is so lucky to have Stretch the Noodle!
The food of this place is amazing and they serve really big portions so you have to bring backup to help you eat all this food. I like this food the most in Portland. The noodles were hand stretched and the sauce had perfect flavor.
The Biang- biang noodles look better than what they taste, I was a little disappointed by them. I appreciate the hand pulled noodles and maybe next time I’ll try the other noodles on the menu. We also ordered the Special of the Day, Spicy Pork Bao. Those were tasty!
