Just left New Orleans last week and was looking for some good gumbo that was similar. I must say this place did not fail. The gumbo was very delicious and filling. The snow crab platter was very tasty. Not to mention, reasonable. This place is a must try!! My family will be returning.

Picked up 20 lbs. cajun style crawfish for Easter on recommendation of my neighbor. These mudbugs were a hit! Everyone loved them. 10 lbs. medium heat, 10 lbs. spicy, both had great flavor, but I prefer them spicy with a cold beer. We also got 1 lbs. of the shrimp, they were head on with a delicious mojo sauce. Do yourself a favor and get a some french bread to drag through the sauce and it will make your year, it certainly made for a fun and delicious weekend for my family.

The crab legs were good and the prices were fair. I would like to see them have things like Red Wine Vinegar and Old Bay for the Maryland-Style Blue Crab. I also thought the “immersion” into that greasy flavored butter was not the best option because it was just so darn messy. The sink they have there to wash your hands was cool but it was in-operable so what’s the point of having it. I having to be having dinner with a professional plumber and it was definitely something he could’ve fixed while we are waiting on our food. Seriously. Good old Lemon and Melted Butter With the crab steamed would’ve been perfect If they would just season it moderately and not so over the top.
